| Baby went home today If you can believe it, we actually found a great couple who adopted Baby, the little Chi/Yorkie with Hydrocephalus. The new owners have two other special needs Chihuahuas and have chosen to adopt Baby as well. I love a happy ending. Baby has continued to improve and I gave him a nice warm bath this morning which he did not seem to mind...huge progress. Then I drove to meet her new owners and they fell in love with Baby the minute they laid eyes on him. Once he was picked up he filled their faces with kisses... which is always a good sign. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes... they worked well. For the person who asked me if I thought their dog had Hydrocelphus, I do not believe he has. I think your Vet is correct in diagnosing a liver shunt. (Sorry I could not address you by name, but I didnt know where to go to look for it.) Kit Florida Yorkie Rescue |

i think this is the person that needs help as vet thought it was hydrocephalus at first but bile acids came in high and we are still waiting on the results from vet to see how high and if over 100 so jury is still out on encephalitis or liver shunt or something else neurological http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...need-help.html | |
