GI Problems are driving me nuts

my dex had plasma when he had pancreatitis it really does help it helps clear the toxins from the body quickly. He had to have done through jugular as he was so toxic from the relapse of pancreatitis and i believe it saved his life

It is amazing what they can do these days so keep the faith she will be home with you in no time

Hi Debbie, Yes her Albumin was 1.2 and last monday it was 2.4. So it was very low.

I am sure her protein levels will be better after receiving the plasma, Lissette. It may additionally help her to fight this infection she has....at least I hope so. Poor little angel has been through so much. Dr. H really is on top of things! I am sure he will find the right answers for her!

I have been saying prayers for her all day.

poor thing and poor you - i just hate when they are sick i am a nervous wreck cannot imagine how you are holding up after this has been going on so long here is some info on albumin

He said she has been very alert and has no fever. He is sending her home today and we will watch for the next 2 to 3 days.

Lissette has a new specialist for Lola (she went there yesterday) and all new things are being started. It really sounds like this vet is looking at the whole picture.
Lola had a bad night was taken there this morming and admitted. Perhaps we will know more by this afternoon!
She definitely needs our prayers.
