Thank you everyone for your kind words =) My babies are still pretty sick and dont seem to be responding well to medication. I just hope that time proves useful and they get better. My larger guy Jack has begun to vomit and drink/pee often with not much of an appetite. My little guy has an appetite but sneezes and coughs all the time. I just let them rest as much as possible and they do have their playful moments. I worry to death though. We are actually disputing the purchase amount of the puppies through Chase who originally told us to just leave the dogs outside the petstore (!!! never ever would I). After speaking with many people up and down the Petland chain, of course no one wants to take responsibility but they are soooo shady! I even spoke with their breeder who couldn't give me the names of their parents or birthdate, I had to provide her with the information and she never emailed me pictures of their parents as she promised. Sometimes I just need to vent, I dont understand how Petland can still exist. But I just want to put my effort in my puppies making a full recovery.

| Hi and Welcome to YT! I may have easily purchased my yorkie from a pet store if there was one in my area. I saw lots online. I'm happy you "rescused" those boys. You are a good person with a heart that won't just "drop them off in front of the strore" like Chase said to do! I still can't get over that statement! I wanted to suggest using waterproof (baby) crib liners for the pee pads instead of the paper ones. they are GREAT. I tried the waterproof pads that the hospital uses for patients and found that pee spreads way out. With the crib liners, the pee doesn't do that. And, both sides are usable. Gunnar is indoor potty trained. He can go on one side a couple of times and I can flip it in 1/2 and since it doesn't seep thru, he has a clean dry place to go again. Gunnar will not step on a wet pad (I don't blame him!) I bought mine at Walmart. package of 2 for $11.50. Praying the meds work quickly on your boys. Donna

Congrats on your babies! They're so cute, they look like little cuddly teddy bears! I'm so sorry to hear about what you're going through. Obviously, you meant well and those boys are so lucky to have a mom who's so dedicated to getting them healthy! Do you mind if I ask what part of So. Fla you're in? I haven't bought a pet there before, but I've had other experiences with Petland down here before...ugh, they're such a mess of a company.

This is un-frickin-believable! Petland AND Chase Bank should be ashamed. When I read your larger pup was drinking/peeing more, I thought of my old girl, Casey. She also began doing this (She was 13 y/o and a mix-breed, NOT a yorkie). I assumed she had a UTI and called her Dr. She had blood work drawn, and it showed she was beginning to have kidney failure . The good news was, he prescribed her Hill's (I think) low/no protein dog food that was available only by prescription. The problem is, she was ~ 14 or so and your's is a baby (who needs protein). Since he's displaying that symptom, I'd ask the vet to preform blood tests and see what's going on. All the stuff I've read on Petland makes me wonder WHY and HOW they remain in business? It's a criminal enterprise they're running and they must be shut down. I don't get it. I don't get it at all

Petland is all over the news for selling sick puppies. A lawsuit was filed against them by the Humane Society last Spring. They are seeking class action status. If granted, you would very likely fall into the "class" and could be included in the lawsuit. Petland accused of scheme to sell sick puppies - Pet health- msnbc.com
