| 5 yr old male yorkie leg problems I have a little boy who is a little chubby at 11 lbs. I'm told he has a ruptured ligament in his rear right leg. Vet said surgery required; others say it will repair itself with restriction..... His front right leg has through his 5 years, bowed outward from time to time. Now, I notice it is bowed outward most of the time. Vet said just some bones grew faster than others.... wondering if it is conicidence or has something to do with the ligament thing and has anyone had this and not done the surgery? It's $1,800 and I'd get the money if needed but is it needed? I keep getting conflicting guidance. Can anyone help? |

| 2 things, 1 get the extra weight off him asap. 2 get a second opinion about surgery. Some vets want to rush into surgery. He may need surgery but a second opinion will help you and him in your decision. |
