Mornin' Mike.....Eddie will be in my thoughts and prayers today as he undergoes surgery.

Rebel had problems with the same leg and had surgery on it when he was 8 mos old. You can't tell he ever had a problem now and I'm praying for the same with Eddie.

Give him big kisses from me, Lucy, and Rebel.

am mostly worried about how you are going to keep him from trying to run on it right away! Eddie lives for activity! But I am sure you know how to handle it.

Oh the minute I read this I thought the same thing. Poor Eddie will sooooooo want to run. This will be mentally hard on him more than physical so Mike you are going to have to come up with some head games (pea under the nut shell) to keep him entertained during this. Did the Doctor tell you how long he has to stay off of his leg?

Thanks for the warm wishes, everybody! I needed a boost this morning, and you did it.

Alison, that's going to be the tough part. I'm going to keep him in an xpen in the living room most of the time. He definitely won't have free run of the house.

I'm told he won't have a cast, and they want him to put weight on it right away. I think back to Jack's surgery for the same thing. He had full use of it the day they took his cast off.

Hopefully Eddie is as tough as his brother.

Buddy and I are sending prayer's for a successful surgery and a very
speedy recovery. Hope today goes fast and all turn out perfectly.
