| Simon broke his leg Simon and Nigel were playing on our bed Saturday morning and Simon fell and broke his leg. The Vet put a "soft" cast on him and he goes for an operation on Tuesday (hopefully, a different Vet does the operations). So I fed Simon and he has not pottied since this happened. Should I be comcerned? I fed him chicken and rice and nutrical and force fed him water. Please let me know if I should try, and how to make him go potty. |

The most important thing is make sure he drinks. It's good that he will eat, but drinking plenty of water will keep him from dehydrating. Not pottying is something you should address with your vet. My vet recommended giving Toto a little canned pumpkin [no spices] and it did the trick for her. Maybe he will go on his own and this won't be a problem. Please keep us updated!!

I don't know how my girls haven't done that the way they think they can fly ...poor little boy - I hope he feels better soon and the leg heals really fast - that must be so hard to see (his little cast) and I know you must feel terrible....These are accidents that could happen to any of us... so try not to feel too guilty - Sending Simon BIG HUGS from Chanel and Cheri ! |
