Keep Burton in your prayers! So Burton has been drooling in his sleep a lot, to the point where he lays in puddles of drool. This happened for a day and he went to the vet this morning. Well the vet sedated him and got x-rays and checked everything, but everything came back negative. We came home with antibiotics and anti-nausea meds and if all else fails he needs to be scoped. The vet is really worried and is not sure what is wrong. Keep my baby in your prayers, I hope its nothing. If anyone has heard anything like this let me know. He's 4lbs and 9mths.

no blood work was done. They said to wait 24hrs to see if the meds kick in, if it doesn't work he is going to be scoped and have bloodwork. He didn't get into anything poison and I know this for sure. I hope it's nothing serious

So sorry for Burton If your vet doesn't know what is wrong, I wouldn't wait to long to go get a second opinion... Good luck.

They said it might be a splinter or an irritation in his throat thats making it painful for him to swallow. Basically there isn't anything we can do but keep him on the antibiotics. The drooling is pretty much gone. Thank goodness he's going to be ok but, what a vet bill!
