Keep Burton in your prayers! So Burton has been drooling in his sleep a lot, to the point where he lays in puddles of drool. This happened for a day and he went to the vet this morning. Well the vet sedated him and got x-rays and checked everything, but everything came back negative. We came home with antibiotics and anti-nausea meds and if all else fails he needs to be scoped. The vet is really worried and is not sure what is wrong. Keep my baby in your prayers, I hope its nothing. If anyone has heard anything like this let me know. He's 4lbs and 9mths. |
Prayers are coming your way. |
Adding our prayers. Hope you can find out what is going on and that it's nothing serious. :) |
Sending prayers your way.:) Hope its nothing serious |
Was bloodwork done? |
no blood work was done. They said to wait 24hrs to see if the meds kick in, if it doesn't work he is going to be scoped and have bloodwork. He didn't get into anything poison and I know this for sure. I hope it's nothing serious |
Sending prayers to you and Burton! |
So sorry for Burton If your vet doesn't know what is wrong, I wouldn't wait to long to go get a second opinion... Good luck. |
Prayers from Lienkie and mommy. I will certainly keep you in my prayers. Hope all is well soon. Keep us posted though. |
They said it might be a splinter or an irritation in his throat thats making it painful for him to swallow. Basically there isn't anything we can do but keep him on the antibiotics. The drooling is pretty much gone. Thank goodness he's going to be ok but, what a vet bill! |
Awwww!! Poor Burton~Tootsie & I are sending our prayers...:getwellso |
Sorry to read Burton wasn't feeling well but may now be on the road to recovery. Poor baby. I hope whatever it was is working it's way out of his system now. Hugs, |
