| getting spay, scared, should I do it? I made an appointment 2months ago for maddie to get spay and teeth removal, well I wrote it down wrong in my calander, thought it was next Wed. they called today to confirm my appt. for in the morning, I have been thinking about canceling it even before I knew it was in the morning. She is less than 4 lbs and I am so scared for her to be put to sleep. I don't want to loose my baby.

| I wish you luck. Maggie May was under 4 lbs when she got spayed. She was in pain that night and settled down once we gave her some pain meds. She did really well other than that. I would say that if you are that uncomfortable with your appt, wait. But that is all up to you. Hugs, B

| I would definetly have it done. If you trust in your vet then use him/her. If not try other vets till you find one you trust. You can ask your vet how many little dogs he has done, and how the outcome was. Best wishes.

YT 2000 Club Member | Jasmine was less than 3 pounds when she was spayed. I was frightened just like you, however she did fine.....didn't even have to have any pain meds when we got home. But, I totally understand your concerns.
