getting spay, scared, should I do it? I made an appointment 2months ago for maddie to get spay and teeth removal, well I wrote it down wrong in my calander, thought it was next Wed. they called today to confirm my appt. for in the morning, I have been thinking about canceling it even before I knew it was in the morning. She is less than 4 lbs and I am so scared for her to be put to sleep.:(:( I don't want to loose my baby. |
I wish you luck. Maggie May was under 4 lbs when she got spayed. She was in pain that night and settled down once we gave her some pain meds. She did really well other than that. I would say that if you are that uncomfortable with your appt, wait. But that is all up to you. Hugs, B |
I would definetly have it done. If you trust in your vet then use him/her. If not try other vets till you find one you trust. You can ask your vet how many little dogs he has done, and how the outcome was. Best wishes. |
Jasmine was less than 3 pounds when she was spayed. I was frightened just like you, however she did fine.....didn't even have to have any pain meds when we got home. But, I totally understand your concerns. |
thanks so much, did anyone have dental surgery at the same time? |
