| Bones Tonight my husband was taking out the trash and the bag broke. He had had hot wings for dinner. Winston my 1.5 year old Yorkie jumped on one of the bones. I tried to get it from him before he coudl chew on it but he swallowed it whole. Should I be worried? This happened about an hour ago. He acts like he feels fine. Should I take him to the vet in the morning or just wait it out? Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance! |

| Hopefully if he didn't chew it and it has no sharp ends, he will have passed it by now. If he starts to act uncomfortable, I would take him to the vet. Bloating of the stomach, bloody stool, general discomfort/restlessness may be signs he's having a problem.

| it takes 24-48 hrs to pass something - if he vomits or has blood in poop go in immediately and have him xrayed as my concern would be piercing of bowel so keep an eye on him also call your er vet now and let them know and ask them their advice and go with your gut |
