| 13 year old yorkie hacking when inactive My 13 year yorkie is about 14 lbs At night when he is about to fall asleep he would produce a hacking cough for a good minute or two... he'll do it in the middle of the night and just when he is laying around doing nothing. He is otherwise very active and does not produce any cough when he is playing/running or during walks... any ideas? Thanks |

| It's vet time. It could be any number of things but with his age it could be his heart so I wouldn't wait on this. |

| I agree @ his age the first thing I thought of was fluid around his Heart. It's a good idea to have your Vet check him out asap!! Good-Luck and please keep us updated....
