| That is great news. At least you get to hold him in your arms. Keep us posted.

| He's so very much better. He has run and played a bit in the yard. We've given lots of love and snuggles. For a week or so I will feed him a rice and burger puree that I cooked. He had one movement that was dark and firm, then ended with yellow and gummy. (It may have been the first since he started eating - I forgot to have the hubby ask.) He isn't squeaking or wheezing when he breathes. Still acting like his mouth is itchy, and his yap is a bit raspy, but I'll take him just like he is. He's sleeping beside me all curled up in my hoodie right next to me on the sofa. He's on two meds for 7 days that in in "mox." |

| The little guy wants to eat more than he should, I guess from the days he did without food. I did drain and rinse the hamburger for his rice mixture while they had him. The vet said he could go back on his regular diet, but they were feeding him a canned rice mixture. I usually cook the rice/meat mixture whenever his sensitive stomach acts up. He had severe ulcers before he was 2 years old, so I take a conservative approach to food. Whenever his stomach is upset, he usually he gets venison, but I didn't have any in the house. He will go back on a "tiny dog" kibble as he recovers. He had a couple spells last night where he woke up with a strange sucking sound, like he might vomit, but he never did. I'll monitor to be sure these are improving, not worsening. He's still sleeping a bit more than usual, probably because the body heals when sleeping. We are keeping the feedings small, a teaspoonful three times about 20 minutes apart for breakfast, and I'll repeat that for supper. We will give him a spoonful as a snack after work and later in the evening. Considering everything, he's doing well. |

| I didn't ask why his throat might be irritated. I just assumed it was a combination of the stressors from the experience: peroxide, regurgitation, and maybe some possible liver side-effects. I just don't know. I thank all of you so much. It has helped more than you can know just to have someone who can listen and has experience with these sensitive little guys. I want to take him to something more nutritious after he goes through these three cups of food that I've made. It will probably last for two weeks. It's quite a distance, but I think I'll stop by his doctor's and ask for probiotics. I'd be afraid to add any vitamins now. I think I'll just start adding his regular food to the last cup in increasing proportions. It's kibble, so I'll moisten and mash it for a while. I wish he didn't act like he was itching so much-his face, mouth, paws and legs. |

| Your Tiny Tia looks so much like my little Buddy. He doesn't have the short nose or thick hair of most Yorkies. I say he has a "fox-face." So precious. |

| My little Buddy is doing just great. Thank you to all of you for helping. He is stronger every day. His voice is a bit squeaky, but he's energetic and happy. He has a strip up the underside of his neck that looks like it may have been shaved. Would that make sense? When I saw his IV, it was in his front leg. |

| Yes, sometimes they shave the neck for blood draws. Glad to hear he is doing much better! Thank goodness!
