| Kobi's sick! Need some advice! My little guy has acted so strange today and I'm really worried about him. I dont know if it's something serious or not. He got up this morning when my husband left for work and was just fine. That was around 7am. By 11 he started gagging like he was gonna throw up. He continued to do this for the next several hours but he never actually threw up. At least not that I seen. Also, when I let him out to potty first thing this morning it was raining. He absolutely HATES to get wet! Normally he does his business as fast as he can and runs back inside. Today he walked so slow, almost like it hurt to go fast or something! One last thing, he always goes nuts when my husband gets home from work. That's playtime for him! Tonight he barely wagged his tail. And he's just laid around and slept all day. Sorry this is so long. I'm just really worried about him. He hasn't ate anything out of the ordinary so I don't have a clue what could be wrong! Thanks for your help! |

| I hope your little guy will be ok. Maybe you should take him to the vet in the morning if he's still not himself. He could be coming down w/something. The gagging thing for couple of hours concerns me & it must worry you tons. Hope he feels better soon & please give us an update.

| An update He seems a little better this morning. A little more like himself. He hasn't had any of the gagging spells since yesterday morning. He still won't eat though. I'm gonna keep an eye on him and if he dosn't continue to improve I'm gonna take him to the vet in the morning! |

♥ Catherine My Love ♥ Donating Member | Sounds like a blockage in the stomach or intestines to me - like he ate something he can't digest - part of a toy or any number of things. If it is still going on tomorrow, get him to the vet and they can try to get whatever it is out. I have seem Yorkies swallow yarn, arms of toys, crayons, etc. If the ob ject doesn't pass, it can cause major problems. The symptoms you describe are spot on with my experience.
