| Shay is gagging.. on stuffing from toy, I think He has been like gagging today, I looked in his mouth, cannot see anything...when I searched through his crate I found his lil stuffed animal, is ripped, and some of the cottony stuffing sticking out..... So now what? he is eating and drinking, but is like gagging off and on...it is a tiny lil stuffed animal, and looks like not alot is gone from it... Was reading other post someone said lil peanut butter, tried that...didnt help.. ANY IDEAS? |

| I gave him some soggy bread, seemed to work for a lil bit ...started again. I am starting to get worried, so many things running through my head, shots on thurs. dewormer, last dose today...the groomer sat...Ughhhhh! then I was reading about those raw hide bones, he had one of those tooo.. |

| If you think he ingested some of the fiberfill from the toy, if I were you, I would get him to the vet right away. My friend had this happen to one of her babies and she almost died. The vet explained that some of the fiberfill used in toys, will act like a steel wool pad in the intestine, scratching as it goes through ... this is what happened to her baby. She was pooping and throwing up blood. I'm certainly not saying that this is happening to your baby ... just was reminded of what happened to hers. Sometimes it requires surgery and sometimes they can give it time to pass through the system. Hope your baby will be OK.

| Thanks everyone, been a long day.....nothing in Shays throat, seems to be his nose...so..Vet thinks either, from the KC nasal vac...or maybe sniffed in hair from groomer....He has me giviing him some bendryl, see how he is in the morning...UGHHHHHHH!!!! so okay bendryl, seemed to help today....then tonight it all started again, so a lil more bendryl, now watching him, I wish he would eat!! he is sleeping alot (bendryl) but has come out to play a bit...he is a lil trooper. we will be at vets bright and early in the morning! |

| Phew, I'm pleased little Shay didn't have anything caught in his throat....such a relief! He certainly sounds like a trooper! I hope he's feeling better soon xxx
