Yorkie Yakker | New Developments in Little Dog Okay so now there has been a change... She gets the urge to go out...Her stool is about pea sized now and very soft if anything at all. She came in and left a spot of blood on my shirt. Upon inspection, her vulva is bloody. So now I wonder if she's in heat. This is really stressful. She doesn't look sick but she looks lethargic. She's alert but has no appetite. My husband says she did this about 18 months ago with her heat cycle. Is he right? I hope so! |

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | Sounds like she's in heat. Think about it, don't you want to just lay around at your time? I know I do, and I'm not really hungry because I'm not doing anything.

| I sure hope she is going to be ok . A trip the vet just to make sure is the best thing to do for her.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sounds like she could be in heat. Is she swollen down there? Mine all were lethargic and more to themselves when in heat.

Yorkie Yakker | Little Dog was acting funny about 9:30pm. We decided to take her to the ER. The Dr. said her uterus was infected and ruptured. It infected her blood stream. There was nothing we could have done differently to save her. She passed on about 12:05AM CDT on June 20, 2009. I've lost my best friend! She will be missed! |

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | OMG I am so sorry about your loss. I've been following your posts and I never imagined that she was so sick. I wish there was something I could do or say to help you at this time, but from my experience there isn't anything I can say that will make your tears dry up. RIP Little Dog. Max is at the Rainbow Bridge and he'll be your friend.
