| ![]() We're going to use chicken wire to cover the gaps in the balcony, this is definitely not going to happen again. We love and adore our little yorkie and are just blown away that he would try and jump from a 2nd floor balcony. We stayed up all night with him and my wife is with him all day today. Thanks again to everyone with the words of wisdom. |

| ![]() The x-rays didn't show any spinal injury and when we massage his legs they do loosen up and bend more. We think it's just major trama and will take some time to heal and loosen up. He's trying to walk on his legs but they're not functioning very well yet, but they are moving and not completely useless. We're looking forward to seeing another Dr tomorrow for a 2nd opinion. |

| ![]() WOW! What a blessing it will be if he truly has no lasting issues with the fall. I was almost afraid to read this thread as I wasn't expecting good news. Keep us posted and lots of thougths and prayers are headed your way! PS: I know it's not my business ![]() ![]()

In fact, if it's at all possible to get your baby in today...I'd definitely push for that since, there's no time to waste if this is a brain injury.

| ![]() Maybe some older dogs would not jump, but a puppy would not know better. I have a 7 pound year old male who I would not trust as he is a jumper and does not seem to be afraid of anything. We really have to watch him like a hawk. |

| ![]() Wow! You should have named him miracle! How amazing that he didn't break something especially when landing on rocks! THanks again for coming back on here and updating us. We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers that the little one's legs start functioning fully again!

| ![]() You can give him an Epsom Salt soak. Use about 1/4 cup salts to a sink full of warm water for about 5 minutes. It works wonderful for injuries such as his. |

| ![]() Wow so we woke up this morning and he actually walked over to my wife, it wasn't a pretty walk but he was on all 4's and he did it! We took him outside and he hobbled around, now our grandparents are here and they have one of his baby sons (only 2 mths old) he got so excited he peeded all over the place but even started to try and run! He's moving so much better, the rear leg drags along the ground but he's able to bend it sometimes and I feel extremely confident he'll make a full recovery. I will put up a little you tube video of him shortly. Thanks again everyone for being so supportive, we're new at this and are so thankful for this site and the wonderful advice. |

| ![]() Oh my......it is a wonder that lil guy is still alive. Something most have got his attention to want to squeeze through that small opening and jump. Suggestion, once he's been cleared by your vet/orthopedic/nuerologica, etc. You may want to take him to a Canine Chiropractor.
