| ![]() Chelsea is almost 16 months now. I started the Cosequin about 2 months after her diagnosis, so it's been about 9 months. She's never limped or indicated she was in pain but I noticed that she would hesitate on the doggy steps sometimes, and I could feel her knees popping (she sleeps on top of me so I felt it a lot at night). Since starting her on Cosequin, the popping is much less often and she bounces right up the steps. She's a jumper, too, & my biggest worry is keeping her contained enough to heal after surgery.

And the steps sound like a good idea! Yes, you're definitely very good at training Uni from what I've seen, so steps should be a piece of cake for the little princess. Let us know what the 2nd vet says! Keeping little Uni in my thoughts and praying for the best possible outcome!

| ![]() Roxy did the skipping, which I always thought was such a "cute" prance/walk/run....However, unfortunately, it really isn't cute, that is the Patellas Luxating ![]() Roxy had both legs done at the same time, we choose to do this, bc along with the skipping, she started to limp and carry her leg more often, that's when I knew it was time for surgery ![]() We are using Cosiquin as well for the joints and I am very pleased ![]() |
