| I am very sorry to hear about your baby. I live in Tennessee, and the University Of Tennessee is a very good hospital. I will keep you and your baby in my prayers.

| I'm so glad you posted again....I was wondering how everything went yesterday. I am so sorry the news wasn't better and I can only imagine how you're feeling. My only advice would be to ask Dr. Alsarraf all the questions you have. I have found her to be open and honest and I'm sure she'll help you in any way she can. She will also give you her opinion on what you should do and the statistics on treating Ellie vs. not treating Ellie. I hope this afternoon gives you some peace of mind and a plan for treatment that you and Ellie can be comfortable with. Please try and let us know how everything goes. ((hugs)) |

| Thank you. I'll know more later today. Your state seems to be the only place with this treatment for dogs. Everywhere else, it is just offered for cats. |

| Hi, Ellie's Ct Scan was last week...I haven't stopped crying really ...not long enough to be able to write here again until tonight. Her tumor is inoperable, on her aorta, thorax, and up against her heart. Radiation, etc. is not possible. I am looking into cancer trials of new meds, but know that the most important thing is that she is comfortable. I can't even write much more now, too emotional. Julie |

| I'm so sorry Julie. You are right, as long as she's comfortable that is the most important thing. We all never know what tomorrow holds but should live today as if it's our last here on earth. I know that isn't much comfort right now but please know you're not alone. |

| Hi, I did so much research over the last week, searching for ways to help Ellie. I found a doctor in Ohio that is treating dogs with a cancer trial. After putting all her records together, Ellie was accepted into the program. We are waiting for the medicine to be sent to our local vet. Here is the website of the trial. At this point, there is nothing to loose. I have to know I tried. As long as Ellie is comfortable..... Bauer Research Foundation - Home Julie |

| I can't even put into words the sorrow I feel for you. How devastating, but as long as there is life there is hope. Our dd had a tumor wrapped 75% around her aorta. We were blessed at that time to have a specialist that had just joined the KUMC team and ended up staying there only 6 mo. But in that window of time we were there. There are miracles. Believe. Prayers for your little baby and hugs for you. ~Joanne~
