Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am sorry your baby is sick. Cali had a UTI and the antibiotic and some cranberry tablets they gave her cleared it up in a few days. Did they culture the urine to see what type of bacteria it was? The ultrasound should help rule out stones. I hope she feels better soon. Please keep us posted.

| My yorkie has thankfully never had urinary tract issues, but one of my other pets has had them in abundance. I know how scary it can be, but take a deep breath. Fortunately, compared with a lot of the other medical issues out there, most urinary tract problems in female dogs can be treated pretty well-- whether by meds, or by diet, or by surgery. The first two solutions are of course preferable, but even if the doctors see stones that need to be removed, animals usually recover well from the procedure. Keeping your doggie in our prayers! I hope she feels better soon.
