| Classic Nylabone Problem Our yorkie is about 3lbs at 3 months and we bought him a package of petite nylabones. One is a digestible turkey one and he was gnawing away at it under us. Last we saw it, it was down to one end piece.... slightly smaller than a highlighter cap. As he is so close to the ground.. we didn't notice that it was gone until 20 minutes later. Needless to say, we will not be letting him chew at it that long next time. There were no signs of choking, nor is he in any discomfort right now. We did notice before that after he chewed on it a bit, it did become a little mushy. Should he be able to digest it to the point where it is mushy enough to pass fine? Thanks for any help. |

| He should be able to pass. Watch for diahrea or vomiting that could be signs of a blockage

| Laya used to eat the end piece too. I would go to get it away from her and she would quickly swallow it. Never had any problems. I must have digested because it did not come out in her poop. Hopefully you won't have any problems either. All I can say is good luck trying to take it away! Laya would not let go!!!

| Roman (6 lbs) has eaten a whole i guess you could call it medium size one in a couple hours or so and he was fine. We had a couple around the house that he hasnt touched in a while, but once we got Mallies I guess he got jealous that she was eating his bone because he got it and ate the whole thing! Mister piggy lol! I was worried he was going to get diarrhea or vomit, but nothing. Not even a poo that was a little weird. The nyla bones get mushy like that and they should digest all the way in their tummys.
