Our yorkie is about 3lbs at 3 months and we bought him a package of petite nylabones.

One is a digestible turkey one and he was gnawing away at it under us. Last we saw it, it was down to one end piece.... slightly smaller than a highlighter cap. As he is so close to the ground.. we didn't notice that it was gone until 20 minutes later. Needless to say, we will not be letting him chew at it that long next time.

There were no signs of choking, nor is he in any discomfort right now. We did notice before that after he chewed on it a bit, it did become a little mushy. Should he be able to digest it to the point where it is mushy enough to pass fine?
