| Dog sty - need some advice about it...vet isnt in yet!!!! I found that my pup has a hefty sty on his lower right eyelid. My vet isnt in yet and I am concerned about it being contagious or infectious. Should I flush out his eyes or wipe them? This is a new concern that I have never dealt with before and need some advice. Also, there is a little more gook in his eyes than usual and now I am worried that everything he has encountered needs to be cleaned, washed, etc... PLEASE HELPPP!

| I would clean his eye with warm water and a wash cloth then get him to the vet. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | He may have "cherry eye". It's a prolapse of one of their eye membranes and is surgerically corrected. Cherry Eye in Dogs

YT 1000 Club Member | If your like us and spent alot of time outside over the weekend he may have gotten poked or have an allergy causing it. I'd gently wipe it out with warm water as manolos mom said. If you've ever had a stye then you know how tender they are so just wipe very lightly. Good luck and I hope it's nothing serious! Keep us posted.
