I found that my pup has a hefty sty on his lower right eyelid.

My vet isnt in yet and I am concerned about it being contagious or infectious. Should I flush out his eyes or wipe them? This is a new concern that I have never dealt with before and need some advice. Also, there is a little more gook in his eyes than usual and now I am worried that everything he has encountered needs to be cleaned, washed, etc... PLEASE HELPPP!
