Sorry I haven't been able to post back, I have been having major computer troubles. I found the baby's mama. The baby's name was Missy, and her owner called us the next day and said that her dog was hanging out of the window of the car, and when she turned the corner the dog fell out.

She stopped and looked for her, but she was gone. The poor thing was so happy to see her mama. Thank you all for your help!!!

sorry all dogs should be in carseats or at least belted in some how. They can fly out a window or if you are in a accident they can be like a bullet. Val get off your soap box. Sorry girls. I have so much invested in Babybear I could never not have him belted in some how.
I am happy that this momma got her baby back. I sure hope she sucures her baby next time. Poor thing so glad she did not get hurt also. Your one good momma finding the rightful owner. Thank you for saving this baby.
