Puppy Puke :( the other day i was out and my dad was home alone with my 14 lb puppy dallas. he said that he had diarrhea when he took him out and so he gave him a WHOLE pepto bismol tablet. i couldn't believe it! i know we give my other dog, belle, whole tablets but shes 90 lbs! now dallas is lethargically dragging him self around the house and he wont eat. i tried taking him for a walk and he wouldnt go. when i did drag him out he was acting normal and pooped regularly and peed just fine. after that he was ok but now hes puking a clear liquid with a little blood in it and he wont move. he's usually so crazy and bouncing around but now hes not doing anything. should i call the vet or give him anything special? or just wait it out? i know this seems really trivial but im worried because there blood in it!

You said the other day. How long has the pup been having diarrhea/vomitting? Any time there's blood there is cause for concern. I'd give the vet a call for sure.

blood in poop is usually not something to mess around with- I would take him in- while he IS 14 lbs- that is still very small to have an adult pill- those should only be given when a doctor advises it. Will he eat treats at all? If he is refusing everything he should get to the vet. and it's not trivial when it is your pup we've all been there.
