| I am sorry your baby is having knee problems. I would recommend you start giving her a little glucosamine, it might help some. |

| Yes, there are a lot of different kinds available at Petsmart. I really don't know which kind works the best. I give my 12 year old Dixie a brand I buy at Wal-mart. I have seen other brands mentioned on YT before. Hopefully someone will give you a suggestion as to if it would help with LP. |

| My first yorkie, Spencer had this. His knee would pop out, making it impossible to walk on...but then it would pop back in...and he'd be walking fine. The vet showed me how to manipulate it back in place, which is a little scary, but it worked, he never had to have surgery. Hope your baby does well...no jumping!!!

| Try to keep her from jumping on and off the furniture or beds. I have a 5 year old with the potential for this and we had to train her to stay off the furniture unless we picked her up and put her back down. The jumping down still is a challenge if she has a quick desire to move she still does it before I can react. My vet said the jumping was one of the worst things for small dogs, yorkies for sure, as far as the knees and hips. Even if your yorkie doesn't have symptoms the jumping should be limited to prevent this from becoming an issue. Good Luck! |
