I am glad to read Cali is home with Momma.
Hope you both had a restfull night and today only finds
her feeling more like her self.

Cali had a pretty good night. She is eating and had one poop that was pretty much formed with just a little liquid that didn't look bloody. She is so tired. She only gets up to eat. So I am a little concerned that she is still sick, but hoping the meds and stress of this all is just worn her out. I am waiting until 3:15 to take her to get her IV out just to be on the safe side. She does not seem to be in any discomfort just exhausted. Thanks for all your concerns!!

When our stomach is upset from illness it wipes us out for a couple of
day's. I am sure Cali is only feeling the after effects of her stomach
problem. Give her another day and she will be like her old self.

Lady was tired for a couple of days afterwards. HGE is very hard on the body. If Cali is able to eat and drink with no vomiting or diarrhea, she probably will come around.

Did you vet do bloodwork to recheck her electrolytes? You want to make sure those are normal before taking the IV out. If they are still off, she may need another day on an IV.

Cali is back to wanting to eat all the time and even played with new toys that Vicky (mblab) made and her Zoe tested. So that was encouraging. She is still on her 2 medicines and her special food. Pixie and Roxie must sense she was sick as they have left her alone and snuggle with her some to. Thanks for everyone's concern and good thoughts. They really helped us through this.
