I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking for you. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. |
Came by to check on little Buster...so sincerely sorry for your loss. |
Buster Brown I was not suprised of the news, he was to young and so little, but my heart goes out to you and the family.I was afraid to click on, I felt this was going to happen. You did all you can do and een went to the extremes, just like we all would do, thats why YT understands your feeling, I am sure you will need time, but you will get a healthy yorkie. There is a lot on Yorkie Talk that bree beautiful pups,I would take that into consideration when you and your family are ready. So sorry and heartbroken for your loss.RIP Buster Brown |
RIP little Buster! So sorry to hear that he didn't make it! Bless you for checking out the rescues too. I hope you can find your special little yorkie soon. We have some wonderful breeders on this site so i hope you will check them out too. Many have retired breeders if you want an older one instead of puppy. I have 4 that were grown when i got them and I love knowing what i am getting in size and health. Best of luck finding your new furbaby(s) to love!! |
Many thanks! I just want to say thank you all once again for being so kind to us. We both got our first good nights sleep in several days. "well better nights sleep" I have been doing some research to fig out what we might do next. I believe that we are gonna be ready in the next few days to look for another pup. I think this is our calling to have and love this beautiful breed. I feel like these pup have a heart like we so and similar personalitys. I have messaged a few breeder and we will start the process soon. I have been looking close at some now. I will give my wife another day. I have been talking with a few breeders from yt comm that are somewhat close to us. We will not buy a another from anyone unles we 100% check out there living status, How they were bred and the breeders themselves. We wil prob by from someone on or close to this site. We will be taking good advice from from all of you guys here. Our first purchase will be a legit breeder and then well have decided to wait a litlle while and do sone research on a rescue. I think we owe to Buster to adopt a rescue pup eventually. I want to get to now the breed longer and experience a health pup before we take the challenge. We wil be going to the breeder residence that sold us Buster and checking them out as well. If there is a mill and it looks out of hand they will be reported!!! We will always be one to help and work toward better breeding in the state of Missouri. sometimes you just don't know. Well! we do now and we will not have if it is up to us. i am excited about getting our new pup and hope we can experience this time what we were trying to experience the first time times ten. we will be intouch with some of you breeders and hope we can find the right pup for us. Has any one heard of fantacyyorkies.com? Looked like they had a nice place and good family. Im not saying thats where will will by but we are gonna explore all of our options. Thank you all so very much. You have no idea hoe much you guys have helped us through this tuff time. I don't think I have ever met as many great people at one time. My family loves each and everyone of you guys and I think we all will have a long relationship and I hope that with our experience we can help other new pup owner just as you guys have done for us!!!! Once again I can't say it enough! Thank You!!!!!:) |
I just looked up fantasy yorkies and the only red flag I see is they breed partis also and some dont agree with that since they dont have the standard color. I briefly looked through the health contract and it looks good 1 yr for genetic defects. They dont breed for teacups which is good. |
I am so sorry for your loss of precious little Buster. My heart hurts for you. I got one of my yorkies from a breeder in Missouri. They have a litter of pups right now and if you'd like to see pictures of them growing, go here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yt-...ul-babies.html |

I wanted to share a couple of links with you. This is great info on choosing a breeder http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ead-first.html And this I posted earlier today on the thread about the 93 yorkies rescued in Missouri - thought as a resident of the state & someone wanting to advocate for dogs, you might find this helpful: ADVOCACY Contact your state legislator and let them know you are concerned about the issue of puppy mills in your area. I think you guys believe in destiny don't you! Just think what Buster's last few days would have been like in that pet store. He would have died without ever having know the touch of of a loving hand or a gentle kiss on the top of his head. He would have never felt the comfort that only a human can give to a sick little guy. For a brief few days Buster was someone's beloved pet and even death can't take that away from him. He was loved. |
I know you and your family will be blessed for having Buster in you lives. I am gad that when the time is right you guys will continue on to buy a Healthy Yorkie Puppy. They are amazing, sweet, and very smart. I just have one 11 month old female, who is the greatest and entertaing little Yorkie ever. Things are going to turn out well for you and you family and soon you will all have a happy, healthy puppy. :aimeeyork |

Sorry for your loss..Please seek out another vet if possible..I don't think the one you went to for emergency care responded quickly enough..IMO. I don't think they should have sent the puppy home with you as soon as they did. We always kept our patients for 24 hour observation and Iv. fluids..especially if the puppy has no appetite or vommiting..Also make sure you have all the necessities in case of an emergency..(karo syrup, nutri-cal, thermometer, syringe, and gerbers chicken or turkey puree..with no salt, onion garlic..)When there is vomitting or loose stools(without blood) this can also mean the digestive tract is inflammed,so it is not good to try too many different foods. I think things happen for reasons..and unfortunatly is takes heartbreak to open the doors to enlightenment..I know your next expericence will be a beautiful one..Peace. |
