| Lil' Miss Izzie just swallowed my Eye Makeup Remover Pad My baby just swallowed my eye makeup remover pad....caught it in mid air as I was throwing it into the toilet....didn't even chew it...just swallowed it whole I immediately called the emergency vet clinic and they say that as long as she seems to be breathing alright, eating and drinking normal and acting normal that i didn't need to bring her in unless I felt it was necessary...she is just being her normal active self, doesn't seemed distressed at all. Has anyone had this happen to their baby before and did/do they finally pass it without any problems

| I think if one of mine had eaten one of them, I would be more concerned with what ingredients are in the pad than with them passing it. I'm sure the emergency vet you called would have known if there was any danger in that. Good luck and keep us updated as to how Izzie is doing! I hope she passes it okay! I'll say a prayer!

| You throw your eye make-up remover pad in the toilet?! hehe. My baby boy eats anything & everything...what goes in must come out. He's eaten leaves w/ LONG stems which I had to pull out of his *, he pooped barrets, rubberbands, plastic wrap, of course tp, peanuts (don't know where he got that from cuz I don't feed them people food), & many other things that I cannot recall at the moment. As long as your baby is not vomitting (sign of blockage), she'll be ok. Oh yeah, he did swallow a piece of apple I dropped & he was choking, I did the heimlich maneuver w/out any results & on the way to the emergency, he threw it up. |

| Well, SO glad that all worked out in the end! I wanted to share that years ago my toy poodle, Dax, ate a panty liner. I did not see him dig it out of the trash and eat it. One day he was standing in the yard and started hacking like he had a hair ball and then he threw up. All it was though was the panty liner and nasty slimy stuff. But he was perfectly fine after that. I sure am glad he got it out because I didn't even know he had eaten it. Pretty nasty, huh?

| LOL...these are cracking me up. Reminds me of when a friend and I were outside talking when her dog came running around the corner with a whole paper towel hanging out his butt...LOL She said she had given him some bacon on a paper towel, but I guess he ate the paper towel too. It was hillarious...the jokes we came up with after that. He was our paper towel dispenser...LOL Dogs will eat the darndest things...HE HE HE |
