| Baby with BLOATED Belly My baby for the last two days or so has had the biggest, fattest belly since I got her!!!! I have been monitoring her diet and waste habits and nothing has changed other than her very very fat and bloated tummy, even if she has not eaten... Do you think I should be concearned or take her into my vet?? |

| Yes, I would take her to the vet and take a stool sample just in case they want to check it.

| I agree It does sound like worms, take her to the vet right away, her tummy can't be too comfortable.

ABSOLUTELY take her to a vet. Abdominal bloating can mean *many* things - some of them rather benign in nature - other times it can be a sign of something life threatening. Especially since she is a puppy (she is a puppy, yes?), I'd take her in asap. Have you changed her diet or anything, btw?

| OK so since i made my post last night she woke up this morning and went potty (esp #2) way more than usual. Her tummy actually feel kinda normal! She is 15 weeks old and she HAS been dewormed, a couple of times actually... I dunno what it was, I will be taking her in for a checkup to my vet so I can ask... Thank you for your posts and comments! ~~Jen~~ (and lilly!) |

| Do you put water on her dry food? If you do and the food has citric acid in it, it could cause bloat. I would still see the vet though. Keep us posted |
