| Oh Erin thanks so much! good to hear! I think i will still go slow with both it and the supplement instead of bringing them BOTH in the same day- i imagine the NV is quite rich and i think i'll start hydrating it before mixing it in with her food- she sure likes it but it just doen'st like her... yet! |

| I probably wouldn't be too concerned since she stopped but Ellie didn't have any symptoms either except throwing up... She did get really itchy that morning but it may have been allergies. Anytime a pup throws up with numbers as high as Layla's, I would be concerned if it continued... How high in fat is the raw?

I gave her some yogurt and that took care of things. The raw is 6 % the freeze dried is 25% in it's freeze dried state- although I think it would go back to normal once rehydrated- but i'm stopping it until I hear back from her nutritionist and NV. I'm just going to give her her regular meals with her pro biotics and lypase supplement. She did really great on that before i started with the NV. | |

| The raw isn't actually 6%, you have to convert it to a dry matter basis because of all the moisture, so it's actually higher than that. To find out the fat/protein/etc. on a dry matter basis of canned or raw, you have to take the percentage of fat listed divided by (100 minus the percentage of moisture), so in this case you would take 6 divided by 32 (b/c the moisture content is 68%) and you get almost 19%.
