Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I just looked at my Yorkie's treat bag and they are expired. Now I think that may be why she was sick. I better not stock up again when they are on sale she can't eat them fast enough. They didn't expire that long ago I threw them out. Now I feel like a terrible mom! Ugh!

| Glad your baby is on the mend. And, the treats probably were NOT the cause of the tummy problems. They are good for several days to weeks after the exp. date. But, you can try either freezing them and taking a few out at a time to thaw and use or refrigerate them. Personally, if this happens again, I would take her to the vet anyway even if just for a stool test...I have had as many as 12 Yorkies at a time and still nearly spaz out when a wee one gets sick. Bet we all do, huh? |
