| Bella's sick,,, Help please!! Hey everyone,I have a small problem at least I hope it is going to be small.I took Bella out for her afternoon walk and well it just felt so nice and brisk we decided to play in the tall grass and she was rubbing her head all around and sticking her head like under the grass,Well now her eyes are watering like a waterfall and she is squinting like her eyes hurt,Could this be like hayfever, allergies. And if so Could I use Visine in her eyes?Like the kind for sensitive eyes or the ones you use if you wear contacts?Give me some ideas. |

| It could be allergies. Do you know if the grass had been treated with any chemicals for weed control? She also could have scratched her eyes or something. I would call your vet before using anything...I don't know if Visine is o.k. for dogs or not. |

| I would not wait to go to the vet in this case. It could be very bad allergies but it sounds a little bit too intense for that. She could've gotten something in her eye or scratched it. I would not use Visine without a vet's okay. I know you can use saline (purified water) but I wouldn't even do that right now until she is seen.
