| poo blockage My puppy had been eating a lot of carpet and paper....and couldn't push out his poo. the poor thing was in pain for 2 hours. I tried to just pull it for him and that seemed to help but i think there's more that hasn't come out yet! what should I do??? take him to the vet?? I think he'll be fine. I'm just going to have clean my carpet for another day b/c he keeps wiping his but on the carpet. I'll put him back on the pee pad but I can't make him stay on that all day.

| You need to take him to the vet ASAP and have them give him a laxative and/or enema. If he is straining to go potty, he can have serious complications and other problems arising from it. You need to be careful he doesn't eat those types of things, though I know accidents happen. Please get him to a vet AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Did he poo yet? Glad you're going to the vet . It's always good to have mineral oil on hand for constipation too - you could have given some last night...
