| 9 week old fell off the couch so the puppy is on the couch to take a nap and i'm taking a work call. All of a sudden i hear a thud and whimper. The poor puppy fell off WHILE sleeping. It appears she fell on her side. The puppy is a touch over 2 pounds. After the fall she stood right up. I gently rubbed her legs and she didn't make any sound. I then gently rubbed her all over waiting to hear a whimper - but nothing. We let her rest for a bit then she went outside and ran around like crazy for a good 30 mins. It *sounds* like its not an issue, but i was wondering if there is anything i should be looking for (she pee since and it was normal, also ate and drank) |

| As long as your puppy is not favoring any part of her body, or crying in pain she should be ok. AND she is eating and drinking wel. You got very lucky with her this time. Maybe she needs to be sleeping in a puppy bed , and not where she can fall and get hurt. I have heard horror stories about Yorkies falling off couches and breaking their necks. the smaller they are the easier it is for the to be injured .
