| Baby food is okay for now, getting a little one to eat is most important. Just make sure that you read the label. It should be meat only with no seasonings. I'd mix it with some crushed puppy kibbles

| In times of real need I always fed the real meat only baby food, and mixed it with my own veggies, that way you know how much they are getting.

| Just make sure it doesn't contain onion powder. I can't remember if it is Gerber or Beech Nut that does. Onions are toxic to dogs. They can cause hemolytic anemia. WARNING! Onions Are Toxic to Dogs |

For meat baby food feeders, is it the texture that your dogs like? Any reason why you don't just boil or bake some meat instead?

No Longer a Member | Marci, sounds like Layla has it made . I've never tried yogert for Gizmo and Bubba. They are fond of bananas and apple tho. My poor babies are laying here on the motel room floor, bored. They just want to go home. Maybe I'll make it to the store and give them a treat! |

The chicken is boiled chicken breast, I shred it while hot and freeze small portions to have for him.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Marci, do you give regular plain yogurt? What are the proportions?(yogurt/baby- fruit). Are there any fruits(baby's) I should stay away from?

| I always used baby food , when i am weaning puppies i mix some with the dry food.... when we have a mom that is feeling nausea and needs to eat and it is not due date yet, we give baby food. My Penelope got sad and crazy when someone close in my family got sick and had to go to a hospital for a long stay and she Jumped on a set of stairs, she broke her leg in 3 parts and needed surgery, well, she was on baby food for about 2 weeks as the strong antibiotics were making her stomach upset with the dog food. Eventually she ate some "science diet A/D" . Well, since i found this A/D food i am using less and less the baby food it self, just because i bought a couple jars and when i opened them i saw "mildew" growing, and they "stunk" so bad... well... i think i would be very cautious to feed it to my child too after that .... I am trying to help but i am not sure if i did it or not...
