I hope your Maya will be okay. It is so scarey when things arent right with these little furbabies...Good luck at the vet...hope all goes well and they can figure out what might be wrong..

Awww Jenny, I feel so bad for sweet little Maya

I have no clue what the problem could be, but at least you are doing the right thing and getting her seen by a vet right away

You must have JUST left too since you said that you were leaving in 4 hours from your last post - so hopefully we will have an update soon

I will be thinking good thoughts and will keep you both in my prayers. Give that angel girl big hugs for me

My three new babies had the same and it turned out to be hook worms...

Try to have her take some water maybe with a syringe. Pedialyte would be great or some water with a tiny bit of salt and a bit of sugar.

We all pray for you and your poor little baby!

Oh sweetie I'm so sorry. I know that a friend's dog did the same thing with some blood in the stool and it was the food they were feeding her. I hope it's something simple to fix hon you and maya are in my thoughts.

My Kayla had a mucus bloody stool today but I know it is because we are trying to change the food they get. I am mixing Instinct and Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul in with there regular food to get them adjusted to it.

She had a sensitive stomach and this happened once before with different food.

Have you changed food or added something different to the diet?

Hey ... so we got back from the Vet .....

She has a really bad Virus and it will take a few days to take care of it. We have to be back tomorrow with more Samples and if she is not doing better she has to stay until she is ....

... with IV and stuff ....

For now I have to give her Rice and 'Hill Prescription Food' from the Vet .... Cottage cheese and Yoghurt .... I have some meds she has to take and I have to keep her hydrated ..... she is running a fever .....

They thought she had Worms ... but she tested neg. ... thank God .... I am not going to be on here until tomorrow .... I will lay down with her and the heating Bottle and try to make her feel better ..... lets hope this passes soon .... she said if she starts throwing up tonight we have to call and come in .... the Clinic has a 24 hr. Vet and Staff there ... I love them ... there soooo sweet and ALWAYS have time to see her .....

I will give you guys an Update tomorrow morning .....
