| parvo q's if one pup has parvo, will they all have it? i have read you can not cure it, it can only be suppressed? my dogs have all their shots, are they at risk? is it anything that can make me or my kids sick? thanks all!! |

| If the adults have been vaccinated and the puppies have not been exposed to any other dogs, there is no reason why they would get it. |

| Is this in regards to your puppy that had the forceful diarrhea? Does it have parvo?

| Parvo can be treated if caught in the early stages....They need a heavy duty antibiotic and IV fluids....if not IV then SubQ. They also need to be off food for a bit. It is the intestinal infection that kills not parvo itself. You need to make sure the pups are isolated. But parvo gets into the ground and is carried in on your shoes and everyones paws. I have heard that pups or dogs are not protectd from parvo until 10 days after shots.... |
