| ![]() Oh man I know the feeling I have had both too! My new kitties brought in fleas and I have had a heck of a time getting rid of those. i think the worms are pretty serious my little Piper almost died from worm infestation when she was a baby I would get to the vet ASAP for that and get the medicine

| ![]() I dont really know when Piper was infested with worms i didnt see any but she was fading very fast. i have seen dewormer medicine at the grocery store in the pet section here in LA. Honestly I would probably get to the vet and I know its gross but take a stool sample with you for faster results

| ![]() It is most likely tapeworm - just take a stool sample to your vet and he/she will be able to tell. If it is tapeworm all it takes is one pill to treat (not very expensive). But, it's really important to get all of the fleas exterminated, if not, you will probably be dealing with this problem again in a month or so.

| ![]() I found a tapeworm coming out of my yorkiepoo Nahla's bottom (gross, I know) so I took her to the vet and he gave her a pill and something else. He also treated her for fleas which is where tapeworm comes from. The vet can clear it up for you. |

| ![]() The tapeworms are alive and wiggly when they first come out, but when they are exposed to air they dry up and look like grains of rice. Dogs get tapeworms from a flea infestation. The Tapeworm Page |

| ![]() Poor you.... I have seen worms just once and it was nasty.... so i hear you. Anyways there are things you can get over the counter to start getting rid of it!!! The stool sample you can bring to the vets to try to find out what it is will only tell you what it is... but then you will give the dewormer anyways.. You can start it right away . You can get it over the counter even at the grocery store... Pyrantel and Piperazine , they should take care of this for you. One is for some kinds of worms and the other is for tape worms... it does not hurt to give both. Good luck !!!
