| I'm so sorry to hear about Mackenzie. Whatever you decide, always remember the 16 wonderful years you had with her and it will make this rough time easier.

| There is no one who knows your yorkie better than you. It is not a decision anyone wants to make, but it is a decision that you cannot rescind after making it. Just be sure you take the time to make a decision that you can live with -as painful as it will be.

| I'm so sorry to hear MacKenzie is not doing well. I was in your shoes not too long ago and it was the most difficult thing I've had to do. My rocky had gotten so sick that he was clearly uncomfortable. I knew in my heart that he would be in a better place but it was still so hard. I still cry when i read these posts and remember how sad it was. We are never ready to let go of our beloved pets. |

| Sometimes the hardest decisions need to be made out of love. I too was faced with the same situation 3 years ago with my Lab, Abby. It was the hardest and loneliest thing I ever had to face but I knew that it was the right things to do after speaking to our vet. I loved her so much and knew that she needed to be in peace. You are in my thoughts and prayers for your precious baby. Welcome to YT~during this very emotional time.

| So sorry you are going through this with your sweet Mackenzie! I had the same situation several years ago with my Lab, Sable. My vet gave me the best advice at the time. He said think of Sable's three favorite things to do and when she could no longer do two of them, it was time for her to go. Best wishes for you in this difficult time.

| Like everyone else, I am soooo sorry. Its just a heartbreaking thing to do. So many feelings of guilt, did you do the right thing??? I have since realized as hard as it is not to be selfish. I wanted to keep my baby no matter what. Love, really loving them is putting them out of their misery. That baby knows you were a wonderful mommy to her and they know how much they are loved. I feel so bad for you because its horrible to go through. Bless your heart, we will be praying for you and that baby. |

| So sorry for you. ![]() It is a really really hard decision that only you can take. My opinion, if the dog is suffering to much and there is nothing to do to make him feel better, you should let him go. It is not fair for him to be suffering. I had to put down my Hungarian Viszla a few years ago..my baby was only 4 year hold. After many many many vet visit and tones of $$$. I had to accept that he was in to much pain and it wasn't faire to keep him suffering any longer . It is the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life. But it was the best thing to do for him... Maybe you vet can gave you some pain killer to help with the pain? Very sorry for you.. it is such a hard decision . |

| Everyone here has already said what I would say to anyone facing such a tough decision. It's terribly difficult. I get all teary-eyed just thinking about it. The advice already given here is definitely heartfelt. Ultimately, the choice you make is whatever is in the best interest of your baby. *hugs* We'll all be thinking of you and your family.
