Senior Yorkie Talker | Good News! No Demodex! That is the good news. The bad news is....the vet doesnt know what it is! So now i dont know what to do. He hasnt scratched at it in about two week or whined about it. so i know its not bothering him. any other suggestions? Oh and i will post pics as soon as i can. I tried earlier, but they didn't come out clear enough to see the spot. well at least there was some relief, but some added anxiety because the VET doesnt know what it is. |

Sorry to hear that your vet has no clue though.... If it's not bothering him, I think I'd just leave it alone and "let nature take it's course".... it will either heal up and go away on it's own - or you may have to intervene at a later date with some antibiotic ointment and other treatments. For now, if the vet didn't seem concerned with it, and didn't offer any treatment.... I'd just keep a close eye on it... and wait...
