| I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Hello everyone....sorry it has been a while since I've posted! I haven't been on much at all lately. We are STILL staying with my mom as the AC in our house is still out....it has been over a week now....I just cannot believe this. I am SOOOOO beyond FED UP with our insurance company that it isn't even funny!!! Anyway, my mom has an in-home daycare just like I used to, and there are kids here all day so it kind of makes it hard to get on the computer to concentrate and type lol. I wanted to thank you all so much for your kind words towards sweet Moses. His loss was a great one and we all miss him dearly. It was just such a heartbreaking thing for everyone who knew and loved him to go through. My sister had her surgery yesterday and although it took much longer than expected, it went well She stayed in the hospital overnight last night but today she started running a fever, so that was bad news and they told her that she would also have to stay tonight. However, as of a little while ago, she is no longer running any fever and they are releasing her tonight She is doing very well and is eating and is even up walking around a little bit. So thank you all for your prayers for her as well! Now the update you have all been waiting for.....little STEDMAN. He is doing well at the moment and shows no signs of having any issues/problems. He of course has to go back to the vet next week (Wednesday) for another check up and the vet told me last week when we took him in that next week (meaning next Wednesday) he will want to take more x-rays to check on the spot that they found in him....so hopefully all goes well there - I'm praying! I can't take anymore bad news at the moment....Lord knows I've had enough to last me for A WHILE lol. He is still on his antibiotics/meds and I will call and re-fill them in a couple of days as he will soon be out and the vet wants him to do another round of them, which will be a month total for Stedman being on them. He just wants to make sure that we get that UTI totally cleared up - and that can take a while. Anyway, thank you all again soooo soooo much for all of your thoughts, prayers, care, concern and just for being there....it means THE WORLD to me and I truly cannot thank you enough. I have received the sweetest PM's (I haven't even had a chance to read them all yet - so I do apologize in advance if I have not yet gotten back to you yet - hopefully it will be soon!) and everyone has just been SO great....so thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart ![]() I am going to try and get on here more often It will be MUCH easier for me once we are actually able to "move" back home lol.... We are just so ticked off at our stupid insurance company that it isn't even funny...this coming Monday will be TWO WEEKS since we've been at home and that is just completely and utterly RIDICULOUS. I am at my wits end and I guess if they don't call back within the next couple of days, the only option left for us is to threaten to sue!Anyway, I will quit my rambling - I am baking a cake at the moment and better go check the thing before it explodes.....LOL!! I love you guys and big hugs to you ALL!!! Thank you again SO MUCH for EVERYTHING!!

| Good to hear from you Brooke. Glad little Stedy is doing well for now and we hope for a long time to come. Tink sends him a little nose lick. ![]() It's good news that your sister is recovering and can go home. Hope all continues to improve for her. And the AC?! Well, light a fire under that ins. co. for pete's sake! How frustrating that is. I hope they get movin' on it soon. |

| Dear Brooke, sooo much going on! So sorry about Moses. I am glad your sister is recovering well, the no fever is a great sign. Yeaa! Very happy to read that Stedman is doing much better. Sometimes UTI's take a while to completely go away, make sure Stedman is drinking plenty of water, that helps a lot. Also I hope your vet is sending the urine out for culture, this helps the doc determine if there is more than one bacteria causing the uti, then he may need to use more than one type of antibiotic. Also what I put in Jazzies water to keep the uti's away, keeps the acidity in the bladder balanced, it is made by naturavet, called cranberry relief, made specifically for dogs. I am sorry your ac is out, we went through that as well in June, yikes. It is great that you have your moms house to go to, that is a nice blessing. I will continue to pray for you guys. Hugs ((())), Annie

| So glad to hear Stedman is doing better and things are improving. Give Stedman a big hug for me. Hope you get your AC/insurance issues resolved soon. Living in Florida, we know all to well how great those insurance companies are to work with.
