| I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Hi guys, I apologize for not getting in sooner to post an update. Yesterday was a very sad day for us as my aunt/cousins had to put their Bulldog, Moses to sleep. There has been alot going on in our family lately and I have just been very down in the dumps lately. My aunt and cousins use the same vet I do and they put Moses to sleep only minutes before I got there with Stedman. I was just very sad yesterday and still am. I hate things like this and they always upset me so much. I was talking to our vet yesterday about Moses and just started crying. Sometimes life is just so unfair and I hate it. We all loved Moses so much...he was the sweetest dog. So there have been the things going on with Stedman, then Moses, and of course most of you know that the AC at our house went out a few days ago and we are staying here at my moms as we are having hell with the insurance company...and my sister has to have surgery on Monday. It has just been one thing after another and quite frankly I am getting very overwhelmed. Anyway, Stedman did have his appointment yesterday and the vet actually didn't do much. He said that he wants him to do another round of antibiotics (so he will be on them for a month total) as he said that sometimes it takes a while for the UTI's to clear up. He wants to see him again in 2 weeks and will do more x-rays then to check on the spot that they found inside of him last week. The night that I posted the update saying that Stedman wasn't peeing again, he did end up peeing right before we went to bed. So I am thinking that when I saw him lift his leg and he wasn't going, he was just trying to mark, because he has been peeing fine ever since. As for the belly band, the vet never said anything about it to me. In fact, yesterday when I took Stedman in, I kept the belly band on him because he would have been marking all over the place, and the vet saw him with the band on and never said a single word about it. I don't know how he can not wear it because he is an avid marker and would be lifting his leg all over my house. I don't keep it tight on him and I do change the pads very often, several times a day. However if these can cause a UTI then I don't know what in the world I am going to do. I mean, he HAS to have something to "catch it" when he marks. Sigh....I don't know what to do. I will ask the vet about it when we go back in 2 weeks. I want to thank you all again for checking on Stedman and being so concerned about him. It really does mean so very much to me. And I apologize if I sound "blah" or down in the dumps, but the truth is, I am. These past few days have been just plain rotten and I feel like I just need to go to sleep for a little while and wake up when all this bad stuff is over.

| Brooke, I'm so sorry your life has been in such turmoil lately. And, I'm so sorry for the loss of Moses. I'm sending prayers for your sister, you and your family. I'll keep Steddy in my thoughts and prayers, as well. I'm glad he seems to be getting better. Take care and keep the faith. Things will start getting better. God Bless.
