| fractured baby tooth? yesterday Bell was playing with the new kitten, a little while later i noticed some blood on Bell's leg. i checked her out and one of her bottom canines (a baby one) had pretty much all came out but there is still a small pointy piece. i guess i could say it fractured. what should i do. it doesn't seem to be bothering her, i touched it and eveything, she's eating fine, etc. etc. will the rest of the tooth die off and fall out on it's own? the main reason i am asking is Bell can't go under sedation, she has liver issues. she is a little over a year with now 7 and 1/4 canines.. . any advice? i'm hoping the rest will fall out..

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I would call the vet about this; a fractured tooth won't necessarily fall out, and could become infected. The enamel on your tooth protects the pulp area and once this is exposed could lead to serious difficulties. Are you sure it's a baby tooth? I wonder if the baby tooth fell out and what you see is the new tooth coming in?

| no, it's the baby tooth.. she already has the adult teeth. i have an appointment for the vet tomorrow. i don't think there is much they can do, except try and maybe get it out without sedation...
