| Rash? Need you opinions please! So I was at my neighbors today because she rescued a little puppy and I had to go see. He's a cutie but has a rash on his belly. She's not sure how old is he but, I don't think he's as old as Meeko. He seems more hyper and active and playful. Anyway she said he'd been scratching but not a lot. She just notices it 2 days ago. It's under his armpits and on his chest and tummy. It's more on his chest but it's hard to see through the pictures because his chest hair is white/ light tan. I looks through his bad and don't see any red spots on his back or head. She asked for my advice but I wasn't sure what it could be. I told her to send me pictures of it and I'd ask you girls. She said she hasn't given him any new food or treats, and he doesn't seem to have any fleas. I combed through him with my flea comb and didn't see any or any flea dirt. Any ideas? I'll post the pictures she sent me but, it's hard to see in some of them.

| After looking at the pictures resized, it's really hard to see the red. It's just red speckled dot on his belly and chest. She said the dots were bigger last night and when her pup woke up this morning, they looked like they calmed down a bit. I hope some of you can see the redness or have dealt with this before. Is it possible that he just ate something from the floor and had an allergic reaction?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Is she sure he doesn't have a flea or two. I had a yorkie that was allergic to flea bites and he would get little bumps like that and fleas tend to go in the armpits and belly and ears. Maybe a good medicated bath would help.

| The red spots aren't raised though, not like bumps. She has him on Advantix, I thought a medicated flea bath isn't good when they already have a flea preventative on? His ear area seems to be fine, too. It's just his belly, chest, and arm pits. I'll tell her about the dawn dish soap bath but, will that take the Advantix off? She said she gave it to him on the 6th.

| If it was me I would take him to the vet...it could be allergies, a skin infection or even mange. Then can find out and get him on something to clear it up.

| I spoke with last night and she said the rash was gone. I couldn't believe that it went away on it's own, so I stopped by today and it really was gone. All the red spots on his belly and under his armpits are it's normal pink skin color. Any ideas on what could have caused it? Guess just an allergic reaction from something?
