| Okay...we are back with the results of the x-rays: She did ingest some. There is a mass that looks like is is ready to be expelled very soon. There is one small piece higher up but the vet says she doesn't think it will be a problem. She gave me a list of symptoms to be aware of in the event that it does. I am soo very relieved. Hopefully, it will all just pass through and no surgery will be needed. Thanks again for all of your concern and support. It is tremendously appreciated! |

| I hope Sassy will be ok, and pass the tin foil without any problems. Suzi tears up everything she can, and she is quite clever too. I have to keep the bathroom door closed because she goes for the TP. every time!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Glad to hear it might pass without surgery. Marcel got into an SOS pad once - and omg I was so worried. The vet didn't want to do much, just watch him bc we just were not sure how much he actually ingested. He did have funny poos for about 1 mth afterward - so, just fyi - there could be some funky things going on for a while if his intestine is irritated. Hope everything goes well.

| Sammi, I just stumbled upon this thread! Little Sassy is a real stinker. I am so very glad that she is ok and that there aren't any blockages. Geez, what these little ones can get into to make our hearts flip! I will keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers. You will soon have something to add to the "oddest thing your Yorkie has ever pooped" thread. |

Thank you so much. It has definitely made for a 'different' kind of day. It was, however, interesting to see the x-rays of her little body. Expensive, too.

I am glad it all 'worked out' for Marcel. I think I will tell Sassy to hurry up, though. A month of worry is way too much! My hair is just fine with the little bit of gray. I don't want it all gray just yet.

| Glad to hear Sassy is ok! Are you supposed to kind of check for it to make sure it comes out just wondering, I have had to do that with my skin kids before when they ate the wrong stuff. Our ped had us basically feel through the poop for a couple of days. Finally about day 3 we found what we were looking for, a small plastic ball that went to a toy lol! How sad a mothers life is |

She ate a regular dinner tonight but nothing yet. Poor baby. The vet said she may have a little trouble passing it. I had a trainer for my Pom that told me he had a big dog for training and was amazed to watch it poo a v-e-r-y long piece of tarp. He ate the tarp and the owner couldn't figure out where it went until the trainer 'reported in' about it. Amazing what they eat. I guess I should just be thankful she isn't a horse.

She hasn't gone yet. I will be calling the vet soon about it. She doesn't seem to be distressed in any way and still eating. The pumpkin had absolutely NO effect.
