I'm so sorry to hear about Lexi. Hopefully, the vet can pull her through. I know you must be completely torqued at that 'breeder' but you should really call some type of animal control authority in your city. Parvo is very contagious and can be spread very easily, even from the soles of shoes and it can live in the environment for a long time. This person could be responsible for an outbreak, especially being a 'breeder' selling sick puppies and having people over to see them. Anyone who goes there could inadvertently spread the virus. One well placed phone call could really help to stop the spread of the virus and save innocent dogs more suffering. A bonus would be that idiot 'breeder' would be shut down.

I am so sorry your baby Lexi is sick with this awful disease. Years ago, my daughters Lab puppy caught parvo. It was a long process, but she made it through. I am praying that your baby does too. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. I don't blame you for being angry with the breeder. I would be too. Please call and report this. It is extremely contagious.

hopefully she will make it out ok.
That breeder needs to be stopped, it sounds like he may have known she was sick if he refused to keep her past 8 weeks.

sending prayers for you baby.. if you have gotten her to the vet and she is put on an iv.. I had a 6 month old that the show breeder told me her shots were all given her.. and yup she got parvo.. I was so mad.. I told the breeder and she called me an idiot.. she survived to the tune of over one grand..
please keep us update and I think you should say who this breeder is..anne

Oh this is terrible! I am so very sorry.

I remember reading your post about how excited you were to get to bring Lexi home a little early. It make my heart ache that you have to go through this right now.

Is Lexi being kept at the vet for treatment? Parvo is very bad and she will die if she is not treated. Please make sure you get her what she needs and if for some reason you cannot then please get in touch with a reputable rescue that will take her and have her treated. I know it's a hard thing to do but the breeder is not going to help you and this baby needs help right away in order for her to have any chance of survival. Elaine
