| Tummy Trouble Hi All, I have not been able to get my little lady to eat today. Earlier this evening her stomach was making crazy loud noises. She was somewhat lathargic but was still in the mood to play some catch. Her stools etc all appear to be normal. She woke me up around 12 AM in a complete panic b/c she was going to vomit. She tried two times but nothing but a tiny bit of bile came up. Shortly there after I was able to get her to eat a bit of rice and some of her food that I softened with a touch of chicken broth. About a half hour later she threw it all up. She is now sleeping next to me...no stomach noises no more vomitting. If she does not eatin the morning she will be going to the vet. I am very concerned about her stomach issues because they seem to flare up every now and then. I took her to the vet a few months ago and they said that maybe she has acid reflux and to keep an eye on it. Does anyone have experience with acid reflux and do the following symptoms seem in line with it? There are some days where she is not inclined to eat and it is on those days where it is very apparent that her stomach is bothering her. She does this weird thing where she gets in her stretch position...tushie up in the air and front legs extended in front of her and she just holds that position...ocassionally she has really loud stomach noises that make me think she is going to have diarrehea but that does not seem to happen. Sometimes she may throw up a bit of yellow bile. Typically I rub her belly for a while and then coax her into eating. The symptoms then seem to subside. I am just concerned because most days she is fine but these stomach issues seem to be occurring more frequently. Any advice would be much appreciated. |

| My two boys have both had tummy issues after eating something they weren't supposed to - Kalani ate some of a plastic mat and Pi'i ate some duck poop After numerous tests, xrays, etc., to eliminate the possibility of a blockage or infection they were both put on antibiotics and anti-nausea meds till things calmed down. For weeks afterwards their tummies would do what your little one's is doing and my vet recommended Pepcid. Maybe ask your vet about it? Oh, and welcome to YT
