| Vwill...I'm pretty sure I remember your claim or I actually processed it. I don't come right out with my company, but when I'm asked, I'll be honest. |

| Thanks for the compliments. Some days literally nobody likes us in claims, it's a big deal to us when we get good reviews and emails. We shoot for a week to process and have a letter or check on the way, no one likes to wait and we know that. A big part of the reason I love what I do is that I get to be a vet tech (the entire claims department are licensed/ certified veterinary technicians) and dog owner FIRST and then work for an insurance company. We follow our terms and conditions, but we always try to do what's in the animals best interest if we can. It's not odd for my dogs or someone elses to be in the office hanging out and there is NOTHING better than an email full of photos. We love pictures, websites, and good stories more than you'd ever believe! |

| Wow! Now I envy your job! I'm over here bored with calculations and talking to nerds all day ![]() And you get to take your dogs with you!! Thats super cool!! I can too but the girl sitting next to me is allergic to most animals!! Including my yorkie! Last time I brought him she instantly started getting a reaction! I can't wait to move into my new office, hopefully in a month or two!!

| Oh, we're plenty nerdy all day too! My friends (and husband) all refer to me as "The Supergeek" because my head is full of all kinds of medical stuff and history (I have a BA in history I don't really use much of anymore, but I'm really fun at parties. lol). Accounting is on the other side of claims so they get to hear us be nerds all day and we get to hear them fuss at the accounting systems, so it's a nice trade off. :-) I have a young and uber silly bulldog and an older German Shepherd these days that both hang in the office. We also have a sheltie, a terrier mix, and a Cavie that come in too. No one ever knows who'll be there... I actually like it that way. I'm also allergic to everything with fur or feathers. I found this out in tech school and went straight to an allergist who actually sympathized with me. He's never once told me to get rid of my cat or the dogs, maybe because I told him if I had to give up seafood or my pets I'd just have to die. We just found the right combo of non-dangerous meds and did the injections for years. I feel for your poor coworker, she has no idea the fun she's missing without a dog. |

| Okay, now I don't feel as bad ![]() Yeah, I feel sorry for her too! She would love to have a pet but it would probably kill her! Her parents actually tried getting a dog, I'm not sure which one, but supposedly it doesn't shed as much, but she was still allergic to it. Even yorkies are known to not shed but she's still very sensitive!! Well, have a wonderful day at work. Pray for us living in California, these fires are sooo out of control, its scary The air quality is really bad these days for us!!
